Unfortunately the building we are in is going to be torn down and a new bigger building will be added to the others in South Lake Union. We are not sure just yet where we are moving to. University District, Fremont, Wallingford and Ballard are the areas we are looking. We will be moving by September 30. We will keep you informed.

Thanks for all of your business, support and fun times. We will make the move as easy as possible for everyone including ourselves. Stay tuned for more info and probably a moving sale as well as a new place grand opening. We will miss our little building, but I am sure the new place will be bigger and better.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and responsible person to fill our FT Sales / Parts / Customer Service Associate position. Besides the fun of sharing the scooter experience with our clients, we seek a confident, reliable self-starter who is able work as a jack-of-all trades in our small shop.

Major duties and responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service
• Answer questions about scooter and motorcycle parts
• Work with vendors to research parts
• Create POs and order parts from vendors
• Receive and manage parts and sales inventory
• Work with Service Department to accommodate customer scheduling
• Facilitate sales of scooters, helmets and accessories
• Create sales receipts and POs
• Handle cash and credit card transactions
• Be available to open and close shop and cash out daily sales
• Assist with rental customers during check-in, orientation, check-out

Requirements:

• Scooter or motorcycle riding experience necessary
• Valid drivers license and good driving record, motorcycle endorsement required
• Must be available for weekend work
• Dependable, prompt and enthusiastic—people person
• Cashier and credit card machine experienced
• Managerial and sales experience a plus
• Some knowledge about basic scooter or motorcycle repairs is a plus

It’s about to get FUN!! Starting Jan 16th, there will be no access to our shop from Mercer St. until Fall 2012. You will be able to access our shop heading NB on Westlake only. It will be like our very own little cul-de-sac!
